I’m lucky enough to get to talk about what I love all day, which is fine food and great restaurants. I’m always keeping up to date with the latest openings and trends and the biggest satisfaction I get from my job is hearing when someone in the team is able to secure a desired table when one of our members originally could not.
My favourite place for a special occasion is...
Duck & Waffle. It serves reasonably priced, delicious food and is the best place to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends and loved ones. The view is all right too.
For a quick bite I recommend...
A cheeseburger from Elliot’s café in Borough Market.
If I could only eat one more meal, it would be...
Veal Milanese and zucchini fries at Cecconi’s.
The best dining experience I have ever had was...
About 10 years ago I went to place called Hunan on the Pimlico Road. As someone who at the time was used to standard westernised Cantonese fare, it absolutely blew me away.
The last venue I visited was...
ToastED in East Dulwich. One for those who like natural wines; I had a delicious plate of coppa and an outstanding pea shoot, aubergine and almond salad.
A great place you may not know about is...
As a big dim sum fan I’d highly recommend the Dragon Castle in Elephant and Castle – not the most attractive of areas to say the least but this venue more than makes up for it terms of the quality of the food.
